Mac PTFE Lining is an established manufacturer of PTFE-lined diaphragm valves out of Texas, United States and these valves are designed with exceptional quality and performance for corrosive and high-temperature applications. Designed with a strong lining of PTFE to offer the best chemical resistance, durability and lifespan for high demanding industrial applications, Mac PTFE Lining’s diaphragm valves are used by a range of industries – chemical processing, pharmaceuticals and petrochemicals, and especially for flow control applications where reliable performance, limited maintenance and efficiency is paramount. Mac PTFE Lining is committed to quality and innovation and offers tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
PTFE-lined diaphragm valve is a particular type of valve that acts as a flow control device used primarily to handle corrosive and high-purity fluids. The diaphragm mechanism is isolated from the flow medium by a flexible lined PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) a polymer with high chemical resistance, which provides robust resistance to aggressive media and durability while also lines the body of the valve to protect it from the corrosive/agent. With a diaphragm isolated from the flow medium, the diaphragm valve can isolate the fluid, so there is essentially no contamination and leakage when the valve is in a closed position. These valves can be found in various industries including chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and water treatment as they provide effective, maintenance-friendly, reliable, and accurate flow control under tough conditions.
